My Birthday with Neil

Yay, today is my birthday! ^____^ *singing happy birthday to myself*

Just like in previous Harvest Moon games, you can only celebrate your birthday when you have a special someone. But in A New Beginning you can also get presents from the villagers if their FP is at least 20000. Below that, you'll just get birthday congratulation when you talk to them; no present. Don't ask me how they know that it's your birthday when you never tell them personally - they just do. The same thing when I entered relationship with Neil, everybody in town immediately knew about it and when I talked to them, they all congratulated me - even the children xp Guess you can't have secret love affair in Harvest Moon world xp

Anyway, my birthday in the game happened just yesterday ^____^ When I visited my darling in the morning...

That's the good thing about video game boyfriend, he won't ever forget my birthday xp It's not a big deal, actually; I myself never insist that my birthday must be celebrated. If there's celebration, then it's good. If not, then it's also OK. And yet, I once had another party who always make noise if I ever forget their birthday while they never bother to remember mine. And I thought it's supposed to work both ways in relationship... *shakes head* Oh, well, it's all in the past! ^___^

This reminds me of Vaughn ^___^ He also likes to emphasize twice like that when telling me to come home early so that we can go to festival together ^___^ Don't worry, I won't forget - no way I'm going to miss it xp

The present is... animal treat xp Well, unfortunately, which character will give what birthday present is already set. So, with Neil being the animal dealer, even if he wasn't my boyfriend, he'd still give animal treat as a present ^^; So, it has nothing to do with not being romantic or whatever. I guess if you prefer to receive flowers on your birthday, you should get Allen as your lover - he gave me rose bouquet as my birthday present even though we're not going out.

Hehehe <3 I love you too, Neil <3 In case you don't notice, his chibi character has moved closer to my chibi character... Masaka... Am I going to get a... CHU?! xp

Then the screen went black with only smooching sound audible. Aiyah, why is it like that? xp I know that it's E rated game, but it's just a kiss - and an innocent one too! I think kids, especially nowadays, aren't so unfamiliar with something called 'a kiss'.

Anyway, when the screen was no longer blank...

I had to reload the game 2-3 times just to successfully capture this one ^^; It moves so fast in a blink of eye while my finger - and my reflex - isn't fast enough xp Anyway, I guess it still looks sweet even though can only see both characters have heart bubbles over their heads ^____^

After that scene, the screen went black again with statement that it was a wonderful birthday and now it's time to get back to work again - aiyah xp No, I wasn't sent to bed directly, instead I found myself all alone x_xm Neil apparently already poof; teleported back to his own house. What an ending... Oh well, I bet the script writer doesn't know what best to do after giving the kiss scene. In order to keep the game as a safe game for everyone, it can't be helped that the end is like that xp
