The critter catching festival is held in Summer and lasts for 3 days from 15th until 18th. The winning requirement is extremely high; whoever catches at least 181 bugs, he/she is the winner. Well, there are a lot of critters in forest, mountain and river area day and night during Summer. The question is, do you have enough time to catch them all... 3 days may sound a reasonable amount of time, but that assuming you don't have anything else to do except go hunting for bugs within those 3 days. Sounds impossible? Even so, I'm willing to try my luck (I'd do anything to get my paws on the festival prizes xp)
If you decide to participate in this festival, the whole town is automatically participating too - whether they like it or not.
Why, of course. There's no meaning in doing something half-heartedly - if that's the case might as well not do it at all in the first place. And when I decide to compete, I compete to win xp (By the way, I'm also totally wrapped up in conquering you, Neil xp)

Hmph, are you sure you want to challenge me? You don't have any idea how dangerous I could be, you poor loverboy xp Yeah, I'm actually a very competitive person; I hate to lose - I refuse to lose. A guy somewhere in my distant past ever told me that it's one of my flaws (apparently in his eyes I'm nothing but a walking mass of flaws; don't have any good side at all xp) Well, he can think whatever he likes, I don't care xp For me, being competitive is definitely a plus xp

However, things didn't go as I wanted it to be :3 It was stormy on the 17th; and even though in this game I can still go out during the storm, there was barely any bugs to catch x_x Damn uncooperative weather! xp On the morning of the 18th, I rushed to collect as many bugs I could find before the festival ended in the afternoon. Aiyah, of course I didn't win - only got 3rd place (meaning my total count is something between 51-100) How humiliating! x_xm The winner was a kid; the son of the innkeeper. Of course being a kid he doesn't have any work to do so he can collect bugs all day long; explaining why he won. *sighs*
Yeah, we both lost ^^; Perhaps it's better this way; now we can lick each other's wounds instead of arguing who's the best bug catcher... (err... *shakes head hard to clear my mind from sudden dirty thoughts*) xp
