On Fall 15th - 18th, it's fishing tournament. Yeah, just like the critter catching, this event lasts for 3 days. The winning requirement is catching 71 or more fish - another impossible mission; not only because farm work will keep you busy for at least half a day everyday and, when you finally have time to fish, you don't always catch a fish (junks and non-fish stuff aren't counted). So, why must I participate - you may ask. Well, I guess it's more for community's sake, because you can earn FP with all the villagers at once - in daily life you don't always have enough time to talk to all of them.
And, just like the critter catching too, once you decide to participate, everybody is automatically participating too.
Hehehe... Do I look that weak? xp
Yeah, well, actually my fishing skill isn't that good - I believe mine is level 2 or 3... I don't fish much in this game because I'm busy doing other things xp
Hehehe... I forgive that rather 'sexist' statement because it comes from you, Neil xp If it was somebody else. I'd punch him immediately xp And thanks for the loving concern... Hehehe <3
Well, I tried my best to catch a lot of fish... But still, like I've mentioned earlier, my farm works consume most of my daily time... And I often fished out junks and non-fish stuff than the fish x_xm The result was even more humiliating than the critter catching; this time I only got 4th place! x_x Meaning my total count is only between 0 - 24 fish! And this time, Neil managed to take 3rd place. Even though we both lost again, still, he beat me this time (Argh!) xp
His consolation line is the same with the critter catching one. Too bad this time but don't look so down, let's go to love hotel to cheer ourselves up... (Just kidding about the love hotel xp)
Oh, the winner of the fishing tournament is Klaus the doctor O.o What a surprise! And he did say in the beginning that he's too busy to catch any fish! Yeah, right... Guess he is very free with everybody is always healthy in Echo Town, except for his loyal regular customer; Soseki the oyaji... who likes to talk about his poor old bones (he doesn't look that old to me - after all, he's one of the marriage candidates - he just likes to call himself 'old' xp)

Actually, in real life, I think skilled fisherman fish with skills, knowledge and experience. In this game, though, it's all about your luck xp
